COUNTY COURTHOUSE RIDING CHALLENGE 2026

This challenge is for members of Central Midwest Hog to see who can visit the most counties throughout Kansas and Missouri in 2026.

  • The challenge starts June 13th and ends on September 30th, 2026.
  •  
  • You must be a member of Central Midwest Hog for 2026 to participate.
  •  
  • Any member who visits 15 or more counties will receive a certificate of recognition.
  •  
  • The member who rides to and properly documents the most counties will be the winner of the Challenge.   
  •  
  •  In the event of a tie, winner will be determined by either a coin toss or arm-wrestling competition.
  •  
  • The winner will be announced at the October 10th CMH Social Gathering, and will receive several carefully chosen prizes and a trophy.
  •  
  • For each county visited you must obtain a photo at the county courthouse.  Photo must include YOU holding a copy or image of the cover of 2026 HOG the Enthusiast magazine or 2026 HOG Benefits Guide (copies attached), as well as the courthouse building front entry or sign that clearly identifies the county.
  •  
  • Only counties within Kansas and Missouri will be counted for the challenge.  There are 105 counties in Kansas and 114 in Missouri. 
  •  
  • Photos are to be emailed to Rick Krause at [email protected] and must be received by September 30th.  Any items received after that date will not be counted.
  •  
  • You must submit each photo on a separate email with the county name and state in the subject line.
  •  
  • Group rides to visit courthouses are acceptable and encouraged, but each member must have and submit their own photo.  Group pictures will not be accepted.
  •  
  • Any questions or ideas concerning the Challenge should be addressed to Rick Krause (email  [email protected]).  Any complaints or disagreements should be discussed with your therapist, priest, or favorite bartender.

 

The point of this challenge is to encourage everyone in CMH to ride more, and to get out and visit the many beautiful and interesting small towns in our region!

Closed Event: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member.

Photography Policy: Photographing, filming, recording and videotaping of activities and events will be occurring Central Midwest Chapter events. By entering the H.O.G.® event area, you irrevocably grant permission to the Harley-Davidson Motor Company® and its agents to photograph, film, record and/or videotape you and use (and authorize the use of) your name, image, likeness, voice, and/or biographical or other information in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed in perpetuity for any and all purposes.
